Bringing your baby home is one of life's greatest joys — and one of its most overwhelming transitions. At Pediatric Associates of Westmoreland, we designed our
Newborn and Lactation Suite with exactly that in mind. Located on the lower level of our Greensburg office, this soothing, modern space serves infants from birth through 12 months for routine checkups and non-contagious visits, creating a calm, welcoming environment from the very first appointment. Our suite is fully staffed with board-certified physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants — many of whom are also International Board Certified Lactation Consultants — so that both your newborn and nursing mother receive expert, compassionate care under one roof.
Lactation Consultation
New mothers navigating breastfeeding challenges don't have to figure it out alone. Pediatric Associates of Westmoreland provides lactation support services at most of our locations, addressing common concerns including latch difficulties, engorgement, plugged ducts, mastitis, and low or high milk supply.
These visits are billed under your prenatal insurance with the same copay — and we can schedule your lactation appointment alongside your newborn's visit for added convenience.
